USF Math Help Lab

The Math Help Lab is located in PHY 107 and is open during the Fall and Spring semesters. The nominal hours of operation are Monday thru Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The tutoring is provided free-of-charge.

The Lab is primarily for the following courses:

  • MAC 1105 — College Algebra
  • MAC 1114 — Precalculus Trigonometry
  • MAC 1147 — Precalculus Algebra and Trigonometry
  • MAC 2233 — Business Calculus
  • MAC 2241 — Life Science Calculus I
  • MAC 2281 — Engineering Calculus I
  • MAC 2311 — Calculus I

Students enrolled in other courses are welcome to stop by the lab, but the tutors on duty may not be able to offer them assistance. The tutors who work in the lab are generally students (undergraduate or graduate) seeking degrees in either mathematics or statistics.
