The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of South Florida has a tenure-track, 9-month Assistant Professor position available on our main (Tampa) campus starting August 2010. Salary is competitive. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Statistics conferred by the time of appointment. Skills in both teaching and research are required. Applicants with interest in interdisciplinary research in the areas of biological, bio-medical, engineering or environmental sciences are encouraged to apply.
