Assistant Professor in Discrete Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics & Statistics of the University of South Florida invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We seek applicants whose area of specialization is in Combinatorics, Graph Theory, Theoretical Computer Science, or other areas of discrete mathematics which support current faculty interests.
Applicants must have a strong record of research productivity and the potential to secure external funding. A Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely-related field is required at the time of appointment. The Department prefers a candidate that possesses experience beyond a Ph.D. as well as the potential for and commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
